Inreach visit from Dersingham Primary School
Thanks again for your time today.
You and your staff are truly inspiring, selfless individuals who run a superb provision for Newham's most vulnerable pupils.
We learnt a lot from our short visit this morning. Dawn and I look forward to disseminating the good practice we saw today.
I really can't thank you and Paula enough for your continued support.
Enjoy the sunshine & my very best wishes to you and all your colleagues at JFK"
Inreach visit from School 21
"Ms Christie here from S21,
I just wanted to commend you and your staff team for allowing me to observe the day to day functions of the school and your students.
Everyone I spoke too on your team was friendly and knowledgeable and where they were not, directed me to someone who was.
I am impressed with the whole schools approach to meeting each child’s individual needs. It was really evident to me that your teaching staff care are dedicated and really do “Enhance a child’s Life through Learning.” Each child was able to express and be themselves in a safe environment. (Loved that, especially the elder boy from Secondary, (Morris I think his name was?) who was a little boisterous at one point in his lesson. But, things carried on as usual until it was necessary for him to have some space/quiet time.
Teacher planning and delivery was 1st class; differentiated for each individual child and visible in each lesson along with a well structured daily routine.
So I have to just big up Mr James Morris in Primary, Joe Steward and Mr Thomas Chatwin in Secondary whose classes I went into.
I also met and spoke with Nazia, Barinda, Tome and a few other members of the staff team; unfortunately, I did not catch their names, however they were equally attentive and responsive to any question I asked.
The provision provided by the school for its pupils is excellent, including the outside gym/play area with built in trampoline, (“I had to have a go,”) and garden was engaging and safe for aiding their physical development and spatial awareness of their surroundings.
I thoroughly enjoyed my visit.
Once again, Thank you, you guys are doing a sterling job."

"Many, many thanks for accommodating my colleagues yesterday; I have already received emails describing the day as 'amazing' and 'brilliant'! I am very much looking forward to their feedback at our next network meeting next week.
Please do thank all of your staff who supported the visit and gave up their valuable time; it was very much appreciated. If you are ever in Norfolk and wish to visit any of our schools, please do let me know.
